A resident of Erie, Pennsylvania, Joel graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management. Joel has been with the Fisher Cats since September 2008 and has been part of professional baseball since 1997. Joel comes to the Fisher Cats after having interned with the Reading Phillies as well as being a former bat boy and the Home/Visiting Clubhouse Manager for the Erie SeaWolves, when they were the AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Joel was a collegiate baseball player and was also named one of Priceline.com's top customer service associates. In his spare time Joel is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and follower of ESPN.
